The NetProspex management team believes that sales prospecting can be made easier by providing the sales community with a way to share their combined knowledge. With backgrounds in business information and online publishing, we trust our networks for business contacts more than we do traditional executive directories or list-brokers who lack transparency, accuracy and comprehensiveness. NetProspex is funded by investors from the business publishing industry and is based in Boston, Massachusetts. Gary Halliwell Co-Founder & CEOGary Halliwell has spent 14 years building online publishing companies. He was the President and Founder of Intelligence Data, an online competitive intelligence provider which experienced rapid growth prior to merger with Thomson/Dialog. Gary served as CEO of Hurwitz Group a technology analyst firm and most recent he was the President of Zoominfo, a leading search engine for people. Gary began his career as a diamond prospector, working in remote areas of the African bush, before finding his current niche in online publishing. Gary has a masters degree from Oxford University. Jeff Clewley Co-Founder & Chief Technology OfficerJeff Clewley has 15 years experience in senior technical roles in online publishing. He was Chief Technology Officer of Fair Disclosure Financial Research, a Warburg Pincus portfolio company, where he developed the world's first real-time transcription service for corporate earning calls. Prior to this Jeff held several senior technical roles in online business information publishing at Thomson. Jeff has a Bachelor of science degree from the University of Vermont and lives and farms in Maine with his wife and three children. Mark J. Feldman Director of Product ManagementAn experienced start up executive, Mr. Feldman was the president of The Buzz Group, a pharmaceutical services firm. He led the company from its launch to $6MM in revenue in 3 years. Before that he headed a division of AgION Technologies, a venture-backed pioneer in silver-based antimicrobial products. In 1994 he worked at Bunyip Information Systems, an early Internet company and inventor of the Archie search technology for FTP. Mr. Feldman holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Information Systems from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Rikki Tahta Board MemberRichard Tahta is Co-Founder of Episode 1 Partners, a venture capital firm managing the $100M Chase Episode 1 fund, which invested in early stage internet and technology companies. Prior to that Richard was Director of corporate Development for Amazon.com in Europe. Richard has founded and sold several companies including ARK Information which sold to Thomson in 1992, Webtrack which merged with Jupiter in 1998 and Bookpages which sold to Amazon in 1998. Richard has an MBA from Columbia and an undergraduate degree from Oxford University. Tom Moore Board MemberTom Moore is a veteran online business publisher and ex-divisional CEO of Thomson Financial Research which included First Call, The Investext Group, Intelligence Data and Thomson Research. Tom also held senior positions in Securities Data Corporation. Tom is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and the Moore School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. David Flaschen Advisory Board MemberDavid Flaschen, who has 20 years of executive experience in the information services industry, is Operating Partner at Castanea Prartners. Prior to joining Castanea, David was a Managing Director at Flagship Ventures, having joined the firm in 2000. Prior to Flagship, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Thomson Financial, a billion dollar information services company focused on the financial industry. Previously, David served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Donnelley Marketing Inc., a venture capital-backed consumer information services firm that was acquired by First Data Corporation. Prior to 1995, he was with Dun and Bradstreet for 10 years including serving as the President of AC Nielsen, North America. |
